The National Association of Professional Wedding Services is the UK's first national wedding association. It represents high calibre businesses that are dedicated to providing an exemplary service. The NAPWS demands exceptional professional and ethical standards from its Members in order to inspire client confidence and enhance the reputation and interests of the Association and its Members.

The Association was established as a ‘non-profit’ trade organisation. This means that 100% of Membership fees are allocated to promoting and developing the UK's only national wedding association.

All Members undergo a rigorous vetting procedure prior to joining. There is also a strict Code of Practice to which all must adhere to and by which applicants for Membership are judged.

Upon joining, full company details are added to the exclusive NAPWS Members Directory.

MEMBERSHIP FEES SLASHED UNTIL 01/10/08

For the next month or so you can join for just £75.00.

PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP LEVEL INTRODUCED

After much consideration we have finally decided to establish a new level of Membership aimed specifically at new businesses. Provisional Membership is now available to start ups in order to help them develop and promote their business during the difficult first year of trading. WEDDING PLANNER COURSE: ADVANCED CERTIFICATION IN WEDDING PLANNING, DESIGN & MANAGEMENT

FLORISTRY CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE FROM THE JUDITH BLACKLOCK FLOWER SCHOOL

In continuing the ongoing development of our recognised training, we are delighted to announce a new range of recognised classes.

The Judith Blacklock Flower School offers a wide variety of first class floristry classes, ranging from one day workshops to a two week intensive course for those wanting to join the floristry profession. BRAND NEW WEDDING PLANNING COURSE FROM THE USA

Since the majority of brides in the USA hire a planner, this particular field of the industry is rather more developed over there than it is here. In recognising this fact The Association is pleased to announce that we are now able to offer brand new wedding planning qualifications and vocational training to aspiring wedding coordinators.

The Californian based Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC) is celebrating sixteen years as the primary registered training and certification program for Wedding Consultants in the USA. This wedding planner course is registered by the US Government's Department of Consumer Services.

PRESTON BAILEY JOINS THE WEDDING ASSOCIATION

We are delighted to announce that Preston Bailey, the internationally acclaimed floral and event designer from New York City, has recently joined the Wedding Association as an Honorary Member.

He and his team are renouned for their spectacular events. His clients are a 'who's who' list of celebrities, ranging from Donald Trump to Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones. Preston is indeed an innovator in his field of work and we welcome him to the Association.

 

NEW LEVEL OF MEMBERSHIP INTRODUCED

In recognition of the fact that there are numerous companies that meet the Association's primary criteria for Membership, yet fall short of the stipulated 3 years of business operations, we have decided to introduce a new level of Membership.

Associate Membership: We will now accept applications from successful companies that have been in business for a minimum of 18 months. Applicants will still be required to fulfil the usual Membership requirements - with the exception of the 3 years trading rule. Instead, Associate Members will have to provide a total of 5 outstanding references. Successful applicants may list their details in the exclusive NAPWS Wedding Directory

 

N.A.P.W.S. RECOGNISED WEDDING PLANNER COURSES NOW AVAILABLE

The Wedding Association is delighted to increase the range of its services by being able to now offer vocational training to any aspiring wedding planners.

The NAPWS recognised courses in wedding planning are managed by a brand leader in worldwide luxury weddings. They are highly recognised and respected within the industry. As we strive to raise the standards within the wedding industry, the importance of education cannot be underestimated. YOU & YOUR WEDDING MAGAZINE JOINS AS AN HONORARY MEMBER

The Association has decided to introduce a brand new class of Membership - that of Honorary Member.

In order to attain Honorary Membership it will still be necessary to fulfil the Association's Membership criteria. External applications however cannot be submitted. We are pleased to announce that You & Your Wedding magazine is the first Honorary Member of the National Association of Professional Wedding Services.

 

NEW JEWELLERY DESIGN AND WORKSHOP BASED COURSE
